The Cypress Christian School Lady Warriors gathered on March 22, 2026, to celebrate the conclusion of the basketball season during the annual team awards banquet. While individual accomplishments were recognized, the evening focused on something even greater—a season defined by growth, resilience and a commitment to glorifying God.
Entering the season, the Lady Warriors embraced the understanding that rebuilding would require patience, perseverance and faith. Through every practice, every game and every challenge, the team continued to grow stronger together. As the season progressed, their improvement became evident not only in their performance on the court but also in the character and unity they displayed as teammates.
Throughout the year, the program rallied around the theme “For the Glory of God.” More than a slogan, it became the team’s purpose and identity. Every practice, every game and every opportunity to compete became a chance to honor Christ through effort, humility and teamwork.
“This season wasn’t defined by our record—it was defined by the way these young women chose to grow, encourage one another and keep Christ at the center of everything they did,” said the coaching staff. “Watching this team embrace the theme ‘For the Glory of God’ and live it out every day made this one of the most rewarding seasons we’ve experienced.”
The coaching staff also recognized the graduating seniors, thanking them for their leadership and the legacy they leave behind.
“Once you’re a Lady Warrior, you’ll always be a Lady Warrior,” the coaches shared. “We’re proud of the women you’ve become, and we know you’ll continue to honor God wherever He leads you next.”
For the returning players, the banquet served as both a celebration and a reminder that this season marked the beginning of something special. The foundation has been established, and the growth displayed throughout the year points to an exciting future for the Lady Warriors basketball program.
The evening concluded by recognizing players whose dedication, leadership and performance made a lasting impact on the program.
