“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” - 1 Peter 4:10

The Drama Department at Cypress Christian School is a great place for students who want to have fun while developing their performance and speaking skills. The mission of the Drama Department is to help students develop the gifts God has given them so that they may use their gifts and talents to serve others.

Cypress Christian School’s theatre arts program is more than just a co-curricular activity; it is a family of creators constantly striving to glorify God with their talents. Students enrolled in the drama program get hands on experience and dedicated stage time for every skill level. Students can expect to be challenged and supported by their peers both on and off the stage with the help and guidance of their directors. With a vertically aligned course selection of introduction to theatre arts, intermediate theatre arts, advanced theatre arts and technical theatre exploration and design, there is something for everyone in this award-winning program.

The end goal for theatre arts students is to grow their talents throughout their high school career and compete as a team in the TAPPS One Act Play competition in the fall and individually in the TAPPS Speech and Academic Meet in the spring of every year.
