Parent Service Organization (PSO)

The Parent Service Organization (PSO) is an enrichment program eager to partner with volunteers who are excited to share their God-given gifts and talents with Cypress Christian School. Volunteers are essential throughout the school year to support the mission and directly impact the lives of students, faculty, staff and administrators.

Whether you have been a part of our school community for years or have just joined us recently, whether you have a few spare moments or an abundance of time, there is a place for you to serve your fellow Warriors.

Let all you do be done in love.

– 1 Corinthians 16:14

Volunteer Opportunities

Assist faculty/staff with various elementary events throughout the school year. Grandparents & Special Friends Day, Run-4-Fun and other special events are just a few examples of where help is needed. Please indicate your interest to help and someone will contact you when the planning stages begin.

Coaching opportunities are available for K-5 fall soccer, 4th & 5th grade basketball and spring baseball/softball through the West Houston Christian Sports Association. All coaches must be interviewed and submit information for background check. Please indicate your interest(s) and someone will contact you to schedule an interview.

Lunch is provided by volunteers to faculty, staff and administrators to show appreciation for the time they give to our students. This is a tremendous blessing and treasured by all!

Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week is coming April 29-May 3, 2024, and is designed to show the awesome faculty, staff and administration team how much they are appreciated!

Library volunteers are needed occasionally to shelve books and to assist with book fairs. Please indicate your interest(s) and someone will contact you as library opportunities become available.

Monthly volunteers are needed to organize the lost and found items in the West Gym Foyer for secondary students (grades 6-12). Someone will contact you to determine your availability and add you to the schedule.

The mission of the Moms in Prayer International group is to impact children and schools worldwide for Christ by gathering mothers to pray. The CCS Moms in Prayer group will pray together each Monday from 8-9 a.m. It is a call for moms to pray for CCS faculty, staff, administration, students and board of directors. Join us as we lift up our school to the Lord.

Volunteer photographers are always appreciated! Please indicate your interest and someone will contact you on how you can share your CCS photos and alert you of special events where photography is needed.

Help us get the word out about CCS! We partner with over 50 preschools in our area and need help delivering CCS information monthly. This is a one-hour commitment each month.

Join the Warrior WOW Team to be a source of blessing to a CCS teacher this year. Once you complete the registration, our team will reach out to you. Thank you for your willingness to be an encouragement to our teachers throughout the current school year!
