As the Cypress Christian School Class of 2026 begins the next chapter of their academic journeys, CCS celebrates an impressive list of accomplishments that reflects years of hard work, leadership and preparation.
All 70 members of the CCS Class of 2026 earned college acceptance, receiving offers from 127 public and private colleges and universities across the United States. Collectively, the class earned more than $7.8 million in academic, leadership and athletic scholarships.
Academic achievement was a hallmark of the Class of 2026. Twenty graduates were recognized as AP Scholars, while students in the top 10% of the class recorded an average SAT score of 1317 and an average ACT score of 29. Six graduates also signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
Beyond the numbers, members of the Class of 2026 leave Cypress Christian School with a strong sense of purpose and an understanding of how their individual gifts can be used to serve others. Graduates are pursuing fields including nursing, communication disorders, nutrition, engineering, business, aviation, computer animation, paleontology and culinary arts.
Several students were also admitted into highly competitive university programs, honors colleges and specialized fields of study.
Scholarship and Program Highlights
Madeline Boctor – University of Houston Honors College
Madeline was admitted to the University of Houston Honors College after receiving acceptances from 11 colleges and universities in the United States and abroad. She earned scholarship offers from each institution, including one valued at $160,000.
Maddy McKnight – Wheaton College
Maddy will study pre-law and public health at Wheaton College in Illinois. She received a total scholarship package valued at $192,000.
Cailea Chalton – Ringling College of Art and Design
Cailea earned admission to Ringling College of Art and Design’s highly competitive computer animation program and received an institutional scholarship valued at $25,500 per year.
Keaon Chalton – The University of Texas at Austin
Keaon earned admission to UT Austin and will pursue a degree in electrical and computer engineering.
Erica Davenport – The University of Texas at Austin
Erica earned a place in UT Austin’s Theatre Department and received institutional scholarships.
Sidney Smith – Liberty University
Sidney accepted a full scholarship, including room and board, based on merit, leadership and legacy.
