On February 4, 2026, Cypress Christian School welcomed students and families to its annual College Night, an evening dedicated to helping high school students explore college opportunities and prepare for the admissions process.
Representatives from 35 colleges and universities met with students and parents throughout the evening, providing valuable information about academic programs, campus life, financial aid, scholarships and admissions requirements. Families had the opportunity to ask questions, compare schools and gain firsthand insight into what each institution has to offer.
The evening continued with a well-attended College 101 presentation designed specifically for junior families. Led by the College & Academic Advising Office, the session provided an overview of the college application timeline, tips for preparing strong applications and practical guidance for navigating the admissions process with confidence.
“College Night gives students and families the opportunity to begin meaningful conversations about the future,” said Erin Stockton, Director of College & Academic Advising. “Meeting directly with college representatives helps students explore possibilities, ask important questions and better understand the opportunities available to them. Our goal is to equip each student with the knowledge and confidence they need while encouraging them to seek God’s direction as they prepare for life after high school.”
Events like College Night reflect Cypress Christian School’s commitment to preparing students for success beyond graduation. Through personalized college counseling, academic advising and opportunities to connect with admissions professionals, students are equipped to make informed decisions about their future while pursuing God’s unique calling for their lives.
As the Class of 2027 begins the college application journey, the Cypress Christian School community remains committed to supporting students and families every step of the way. We ask for continued prayers that God will provide wisdom, clarity and direction as each student prepares for the exciting opportunities ahead.
