Varsity Cheer Team Wins TAPPS State Championship Title

In an unforgettable finish to a year marked by determination, discipline and school pride, the varsity cheer team brought home the TAPPS State Championship title in the Traditional Division. Competing against 10 strong programs from across the state, the team delivered a standout performance that secured them the top honor and cemented their place as state champions.

This victory represents a season of hard work, unity and commitment to excellence. For the athletes, the championship is not only a major accomplishment but a celebration of teamwork and heart.

“This was a wonderful way for our program and school to be recognized,” shared Coach Dennis, “These girls have given their all since day one, and they earned every moment of this win.”

Coach Kirtley echoed the pride felt throughout the cheer program: “We are incredibly proud to represent our school and these amazing athletes. Their dedication and unity are what make this program so special. Bringing home the state title is a reflection of that.”

The championship marks a milestone moment for the cheer program and sets a new standard of excellence for future teams. As the school community celebrates this historic win, one thing is certain: these athletes have shown what it means to lead, to work and to compete with heart.

Congratulations to our varsity cheer state champions!
