Third Grade Visits the Houston Arboretum

On Tuesday, third-grade students took a field trip to the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center. There they were able to experience the ecosystems they have been studying in science, and they saw firsthand several different animal habitats. Highlights of the trip included pond dipping, characterizing the animals as carnivores/herbivores/omnivores and getting to pet a bearded dragon. We are so proud of how much our students have learned in science this year. All of their hard work paid off as they were able to answer questions and impress their group leaders.
