Lady Warriors are 3-1

The Cypress Christian Lady Warriors softball team improved to 3-1 with a 16-1 win over Frassati Catholic School on Tuesday evening.

Junior Lucy Davis led the way with three hits and five RBIs, including a bases-loaded double as the visiting Warriors sent 16 batters to the plate in a 10-run fourth inning outburst. Junior shortstop Chloe Roberson scored twice in that inning and reached base in all four of her plate appearances in the game, scoring four runs.

Freshman Megan Smith and Sophomore Macy Murray each had two hits as well, part of a 13-hit onslaught for the Lady Warriors, who look to improve their record this weekend at the First Baptist Christian Academy Tournament in Pasadena.
