Honors Engineering Students 3D Print Christmas Ornaments

The honors engineering class had the opportunity to 3D print Christmas ornaments. The class was blessed to have Mr. James Zapico as a guest speaker to help understand the history of engineering drawings and the modern technology and programs engineers have today to communicate drawings and designs. The students were able to create drawings in an online computer-aided design program called OnShape. They used their skills and practice to design a Christmas ornament of their choice. Mr. Zapico came back to the class to explain how a 3D printer works. Their computer designs were then 3D
