Lady Warriors Win Tournament

The Cypress Christian Lady Warriors softball team captured the championship in the First Baptist Christian Academy Softball Tournament last weekend.  

CCS went 4-0 in the tournament with wins over St. Francis Episcopal, Frassati, Concordia Lutheran and First Baptist Christian Academy. Senior Makaylah Williams led the way with five hits in the tournament and Junior Pitcher Lucy Davis registered three wins. Davis also clubbed her first home run of the season in a 7-5 victory over St. Francis Episcopal.

The Lady Warriors are now 8-1 on the season heading into the Latexo Invitational Softball Tournament in Crockett this weekend.
