Lady Warriors Softball Returns with a Bang

The Lady Warriors Softball team returned from Spring Break with a bang, scoring 12 runs in the first inning en route to a 15-9 win over St. Francis Episcopal.

The first inning barrage included a bases-loaded triple from junior Cayden Tate, one of four triples and eight hits in the inning as the Warriors sent 16 batters to the plate. Junior Chloe Roberson and sophomore Macie Dammeyer contributed three hits on the night to help power Cypress Christian’s offensive onslaught.

Freshman Kennedy Schwartz started and pitched a complete game, and junior Lucy Davis and sophomore Sarah Olenick backed her with stellar defense as the Lady Warriors improved to 12-2-1 on the season.
