Lady Warriors are Undefeated District Champions Second Year in a Row

The CCS Lady Warriors softball team wrapped up another district championship with an 18-3 win at Northland on Tuesday. 

Freshman Megan Smith led the way with four RBIs, including an inside-the-park homerun and two triples. Freshman Sarah Olenick, senior Makaylah Williams and Junior Chloe Roberson each added three hits of their own, as the Warriors banged out 18 hits in the win.

Junior pitcher Lucy Davis and freshman Kennedy Schwartz teamed up to hold Northland’s batters to just two hits as the Lady Warriors completed district play undefeated for the second year in a row.

Cypress Christian is 20-2-1 heading into the TAPPS Division III playoffs which begin in two weeks.
