Elementary students participated in their annual Run-4-Fun fundraising event! Students started the day running around the track surrounded by cheering parents and faculty. At lunchtime, parents joined their students for a yummy hot dog picnic. A snow cone truck was on site to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. To wrap up the event, teachers participated in an inflatable costume foot race with the Gingerbread (Mrs. Martin-TK) as the winner!
CCS students raised such a large amount of funds that they won several incentives. Four of our awesome teachers and staff became human ice cream sundaes: Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Ermel, Ms. Leonard and Mrs. Ferrell. As the ultimate incentive, students watched as Mr. Reents, Mr. Klapesky and Coach Laidlaw were completely covered in gooey green slime. Thank you, parents, for helping us surpass our $55,000 goal by raising $63,000!
