Cypress Christian School celebrated the start of a new school year and the conclusion of First Things First: A Week of Prayer with Blue & White Night, bringing together more than 1,100 members of the Warrior community for an evening of fellowship, school spirit and worship.
The county fair-themed event welcomed new and returning CCS families for a night filled with food, games and activities across campus. Students, parents, faculty and staff had the opportunity to connect and celebrate the beginning of another school year together at Cypress Christian School.
The evening continued with a spirited pep rally featuring performances by the CCS high school and middle school cheer teams and the Warrior Band. Students and families filled the gym to celebrate the Warriors and build excitement for the year ahead.
One of the most memorable moments of Blue & White Night came as students gathered for praise and worship led by City on a Hill, the CCS student worship band. When the final song ended, students remained together and enthusiastically called for an encore — a joyful picture of a school community united in faith.
Blue & White Night also served as the culmination of First Things First: A Week of Prayer, an intentional time of prayer leading into the new school year. The week began with a campus Prayer Walk and continued as the CCS community prayed over students, families, faculty, staff, leadership and the year ahead.
From the opening Prayer Walk to the final song of worship at Blue & White Night, the Cypress Christian School community intentionally began the year by putting first things first and focusing on Christ.
CCS is grateful for the families, students, faculty and staff who participated throughout the week and helped make Blue & White Night a memorable celebration of faith, community and the start of a new school year.
