Dr. Mary Layton

Dr. Mary Layton earned a bachelor of arts in music with an emphasis in violin as well as a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin. While her pharmacy career kept her from pursuing music professionally, she has faithfully continued to play the violin in her church orchestra as a way to use her gifts to serve the Lord. She sees tremendous value in music education and is excited for the opportunity to start a string ensemble at CCS. Dr. Layton is ACSI Certified in Secondary Science 6-12.
