Her goal is to help students gain a better understanding of how they learn, build their confidence by taking risks and overcoming challenges. She loves sharing her love for the Lord and connecting what students are learning to God’s Word and His love for them.

She has been married to her husband, Marcelino, for over 30 years. They have three adult daughters and four grandsons. Debbie loves to read, especially historical fiction, travel and spend time with family. One of her favorite passages is Philippians 4:4-7, “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again; Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
