Warrior Athletics took the 2010-2011 theme, “ALL FOR HIM,” and ran with it this year. This was the best year yet collectively for the high school teams in the history of the school. We are grateful to God who gave us talented student athletes and gifted coaches to make it all come together during each season. Not only were we victorious, but we had a great time competing. Every sport has its own set of stories. The students worked hard and the results were evident. As John Wooden taught, “Little things make big things happen.”

- Cheerleaders: First place NCA Camp Competition; First place in Mardi Gras Fest
- Volleyball: The Lady Warriors earned third place in the NHAL district in volleyball.
- Football: Athletes played hard and ended in the middle of the pack.
- Basketball: The season saw some great moments as the girls’ and the boys’ teams fought hard and improved throughout the season.
- Winter Soccer: The season was great as both the girls and boys played an independent schedule.
- MS Track: Team members had a tremendous spring with the B boys winning the District Meet and the A boys coming in second. The B girls won second and the A girls took third at the District Meet.
- MS Softball and Baseball: Players were busy swinging their bats. The ladies won second in an independent tournament and the boys took fourth in the NHAL District Tournament.

- Varsity Football: TAPPS Division III District and Bi-District Champs
- Ten members of the Cypress Christian Football team received All-State accolades for the 2009 season. Daniel Rodriguez was recognized on both sides of the ball as a first team defensive linemen and a second team offensive linemen. Kyle Francis also received first team honors as a linebacker. Brandon Galloway and Jason Groll received second team honors as a wide receiver and running back. Jack Mitchell, Michael Gamble, Kyle Hinn, Jacob Reed, and Austin Barton received honorable mention. Twenty players received All-District honors.

While representing TEAM USA, Shanay Briscoe won eighth place in High Jump in the 2009 IAAF World Track and Field Championships in Italy. She also holds the title of TOP USA Athlete in High Jump.

Brandon Galloway (800), Shanay Briscoe (High Jump, 400, relay), Lindsay Adam (discus), and the 4x400 Relay team (Shanay Briscoe, Jordyn McCain, Lindsay Adam and Catrina Beaty) set new school records! - Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams: Competed at State; Kenny Ellis covered the five kilometer course in a TAPPS 4A Track best time of 17:30. He won the individual State Cross Country title

- Varsity Boys Soccer Team: Competed in TAPPS Winter District play for the first time, and earned a spot in post-season play.

- Middle School Sword and Shield Awards: Faith Longnecker, Anne Yalamanchili and Jonathan Mason won the Middle School Sword and Shield Awards. These awards are given to very deserving student athletes for exemplifying excellence in athletics, leadership, determination, sportsmanship, Christian character, academic achievement and integrity.
- MS A Volleyball: Finished First Place at the Living Stones Tournament. Two girls were given All Tournament Honors out of 160 athletes.

Another history-making event was Kenny Ellis becoming the State Champion in the 4A division, 3200 M. Run. Our boys 4x200 M. Relay earned State Runner-up, and Holt Van Pelt won third in the 100 M. Dash and Kenny Ellis placed third in the 1600 M. Run. CCCS made history again as several high school athletes earned All State honors: Kenny Ellis (Cross Country), Daniel Ambrose (Football), Kristan Hinn (Volleyball), Biko Paris, Antoine Sam and Ludovic Dovonou (Basketball), Kenny Ellis, Beau Adam, Holt Van Pelt, Austin Tunnell, and Bryan Jackson (Track), Louis Lee, Daniel Ambrose, Josh Roberts, and Tim Redden (Baseball) and Kerrie Nelson (Softball-first ever in our school)
