Admissions Requirements

At least one parent must give a written account of how they came to know the Lord and be in agreement with the CCS Statement of Faith and Mission Statement.

Students in grades K-1 are given a reading readiness screening  and a developmental assessment to determine developmental age and proper placement.

Students in grades 1-12 must test on or above grade level on the reading and math sections of the CCS entrance exam. Students are asked to provide standardized and/or achievement test scores if taken within one year of the application date.

Students must have a record of good behavior.

NEW STUDENT ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Step 1 - Application

Cypress Christian School utilizes an online admissions application for new students.

  1. Click here to begin your online application.
  2. Select - Create an Account
  3. Once your account is created, login to your account
  4. Select - Create a New Student Application for each child you wish to enroll. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application(s).

After submitting the application, along with the non-refundable application fee, you will be able to track your admissions status by logging into your account.

Step 2 - Testing

Once the application is submitted, the Admissions Office will contact you to schedule testing.

Required Testing:

Kindergarten
  • Gesell Developmental Observation
  • SEARCH Screening for reading readiness
First Grade
  • Gesell Developmental Observation
  • SEARCH Screening for reading readiness
  • MAP Screener - reading, math and a writing sample
Second through Twelfth Grade
  • MAP Screener - reading, math and a writing sample

Students are asked to provide standardized and/or achievement test scores if taken within one year of the application date.

The following documents must be submitted to the Admissions Office before the interview will be scheduled:

Step 4 - Interview

The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule a family interview once the applicant’s file is complete and all requirements have been met. Both parents and student(s) are required to meet with administrators.

Step 5 - Admissions Decision

Families will be called by their division principal to inform them of their admissions acceptance decision.
