August 28, 2025 - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Bridgeland Campus Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On August 28, 2025, the Cypress Christian School community gathered in celebration of God’s abundant blessings and faithfulness to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of our new Bridgeland campus. The morning began with a special welcome from Board Chairman Sean Tackett, setting a tone of excitement and thankfulness for this milestone in the life of our school.
This day will be remembered as a milestone of God’s faithfulness and the commitment of our CCS community to provide Christ-centered education for generations to come. As Cypress Christian School continues to grow and expand, we are grateful for the unwavering support of our families, faculty and the Cypress community.
In the final week of June, Cypress Christian School faculty and staff—with the help of student-athletes—rolled up their sleeves and worked together to complete a major milestone: moving into our new Bridgeland campus! Over the course of four days, teams at the Jones Road campus staged classroom materials, furniture, and supplies for the moving trucks to transport to our new home. Meanwhile, teams at Bridgeland received deliveries and moved items into classrooms and designated areas.
Their collective effort ensures that teachers will be ready to decorate and prepare their learning spaces later this summer.
Thanks to the incredible teamwork and servant-hearted spirit of our CCS community, the new campus is now full of life, energy, and all the essential resources needed to launch the school year. We are thrilled to witness the transformation and look forward to welcoming students to their new campus home on the first day of school—Tuesday, September 3!

March 17, 2025 - Construction Remains On Schedule
New Campus Construction Remains On Schedule
The construction of Cypress Christian School’s new Bridgeland campus is progressing steadily and remains on schedule for the 2025 school year. Walls on all buildings are now vertical, and interiors are quickly taking shape. Cabinetry and ceiling tiles are being installed, and floors are being prepped for finishing. In the gyms, basketball hoops have been hung, and the final flooring designs have been submitted.
The last building to go vertical was the field house, where interior walls are now being added—making the reality of our new campus feel even closer. A special piece of our Jones Road campus will also be making the move, as the bleachers have been disassembled and transported to Bridgeland, carrying a part of our legacy forward.
We are incredibly grateful for God’s provision throughout this journey and cannot wait to see the finished campus come to life in just a few months!

The new Cypress Christian School campus in Bridgeland is making incredible strides, especially in athletics! Goalposts are up on the football field, nets are set on the baseball and softball fields, and the walls of the state-of-the-art Field House are rising. This facility will be a true milestone, featuring a weight room, training area, locker rooms, and coaches’ offices. Meanwhile, the wood floors for the gymnasiums are being designed, promising a top-tier space for basketball, volleyball, and school events. These updates mark a new era for CCS athletics, offering students world-class facilities to train, compete, and grow. Go Warriors!

CCS Moms Serve Workers Building New Campus
Moms of TK, Kindergarten, and 4th grade students came together with great excitement to serve a heartfelt breakfast to the dedicated crew of over 150 men and women who are working tirelessly to build our new campus in Bridgeland. These incredible Warrior moms were thrilled to not only serve the workers but also witness the progress of the new campus firsthand. In addition to providing a warm meal, they prayed over the workers and the future home of Cypress Christian School, asking blessings on both their efforts and the exciting developments ahead.
October 23, 2024 - Senior Capstone Engineering Students Visit
Senior Capstone Engineering Students Visit Bridgeland Campus
The Senior Capstone Engineering class is reviewing the different types of engineering. While reviewing the basics of civil engineering, students were given engineering drawings of both the current CCS campus and the Bridgeland CCS campus. The class walked the current campus with engineering drawings, and then Mr. David Swan invited the class to walk the drawings of the future Bridgeland CCS campus. This experience allowed students to see the in-progress construction of a work site as well as speak to the on-site construction managers.

The excitement for the new campus is building among our staff members as they have been taking tours to explore their future classrooms and facilities. Led by CCS CFO and COO David Swan, these small group tours provide a unique opportunity to visit the new campus for the first time.

We’re excited to share that significant progress is being made on the new Cypress Christian School campus in Bridgeland. Bridgeland Campus Groundbreaking
We were blessed to hold the groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, February 23 for the new Cypress Christian School campus in Bridgeland, opening in August 2025. Dr. Jeff Potts and the Board of Directors prayed over the campus before the ceremony.
Mike Slabic, Dr. Potts and Scott Mestayer spoke, fifth-grader Berkleigh Elsner led the pledges and junior Ryan Fisk said a prayer over the ceremony. The ground was broken by the Board and Dr. Potts and Board Member Stacy Fransen closed the ceremony in prayer. “We are not only here today to celebrate groundbreaking, we are also here to recognize that there has never been a greater need in our nation for what will be happening under the roof of this building and out on the fields of this campus. Increasing the scope and impact of Christian leadership in our community and our country through an academically rigorous and Christ-focused education experience is what we believe this new campus will do.” – Mike Slabic, Chairman of the CCS Board of Directors.
