Ashlee Wisenbaker

Learning Center Academic Skills Coach
OVERVIEW

Ashlee Wisenbaker began her career in education in 2000 at Houston’s Presbyterian School, teaching fourth grade. She has a variety of teaching experiences in both public and private schools, working in classrooms that span pre-school to high school. Ashlee has over 10 years’ experience at Cypress Christian School, with the majority of that time serving students in the Learning Center, previously as the Secondary Resource Room Coordinator, and currently, as the Academic Skills Coach.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in interdisciplinary studies from Texas A&M University. Ashlee is enthusiastic about coming alongside her students to assist them in finding and using strategies that tackle their coursework while increasing their executive functioning skills. Her goal is for every student to grow in their independence as a learner, a thinker and a problem-solver, not only in their education but in all aspects of their life.

She is married to her college sweetheart, Matt, and they have raised their three children not just as Cypress Christian Warriors (alumni and current students), but as warriors in Christ. Ashlee enjoys reading, travel and family time – much of which is spent watching her children play baseball, football, basketball and volleyball. One of her favorite verses to share is Joshua 1:9, “…Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
