Melissa Knight

Mrs. Melissa Knight serves as a fifth-grade teacher at Cypress Christian School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Houston and holds teaching certifications in Texas and Colorado. She is also certified in English as a second language, gifted and talented education and through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Mrs. Knight brings extensive experience in both public and Christian education, teaching students across fifth, sixth and seventh grades. She has also served in school leadership, overseeing areas including curriculum, budgeting, electives and student discipline, as well as serving as a middle school assistant principal.

Mrs. Knight views teaching as more than a profession; she considers it a ministry. She is passionate about partnering with families during students’ formative years, helping them grow academically while pointing them toward Christ. She considers it a privilege to serve the students and families of CCS.

Mrs. Knight and her husband have three children. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and is grateful to be part of the CCS community.
