Joey Klapesky

Mr. Joey Klapesky, also known as Coach K, serves as the elementary technology teacher at Cypress Christian School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise and sport science from Texas State University and a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University Irvine. He holds a Texas teaching certification in physical education as well as certification through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Mr. Klapesky brings extensive experience in both public and private education, having served students as a teacher, coach and administrator. He is passionate about helping students grow academically, athletically and spiritually by pointing them to the truth of God’s Word and encouraging them to develop the gifts and talents the Lord has given them.

Mr. Klapesky and his wife, Samantha, have three daughters who attend CCS. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, working out and coaching sports.
