Kimberly Aftosmes

Mrs. Kim Aftosmes serves as a Search and TEACH therapist in the Huff Learning Center at Cypress Christian School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Bridgewater State University and brings extensive teaching experience from schools in both New England and Texas. Before transitioning to the Huff Learning Center, she served in the classroom at CCS.

Mrs. Aftosmes holds a Texas teaching certification in early childhood education as well as certification through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). She is passionate about supporting young learners and providing them with the tools they need to become successful readers and writers. Her goal is to help each student reach their full potential in Christ and recognize their value and worth in Him.

Mrs. Aftosmes and her husband, Michael, have four adult children and three grandchildren. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and playing with her dogs. Her favorite Scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, which reminds her to trust God’s direction through life’s twists and turns and to have confidence in His plan.
