The CCS swim team hosted a combined high school and middle school swim meet on Monday, December 4, at the Cy-Fair Natatorium. There were 11 schools represented and 239 total swimmers in the competition. Both divisions of the swim team were competitive and there were several top five finishers.

The Warrior swim team, both high school and middle school, had their end-of-season awards banquet last Friday, March 3. The team celebrated a successful season which included TAPPS state qualifications for all high school relay teams along with four individual qualifiers.
The Warrior Swim Team competed in the TAPPS State Swim Meet on Monday, February 6 in San Antonio. The Warriors were represented by 13 athletes and competed in 4 relay events, and 4 individual events.

The Warrior high school swim team competed in the TAPPS East Regional swim meet on Saturday, January 21, at the University of Houston. In a field of 13 teams, both the girl’s team and the boy’s team finished in sixth place in Division III. Many of the swimmers swam their fastest times of the season and several individuals had top 10 finishes.

The Warrior Swim high school team competed in the Houston Area Private and Parochial Invitational on Saturday at the University of Houston.

The Warrior swim teams, both high school and middle school, competed last Saturday at the Bay Area Christian Meet. The combined teams finished in third place overall in a field of seven schools.

The Warrior high school swim team had a meet last Saturday at Westfield High School. The team had a few top five finishes in both individual and relay events while competing against 15 other schools.

The Warrior Swim Team competed in their first meet on Saturday, November 5. The competition included swimmers from CHSM, The Woodlands Christian and Frassati.

The CCS middle school swim team ended its 2021-2022 season with a very strong performance at the Southeast Texas Private Middle School Championships on January 20. The Warriors finished fourth in the team competition, and most impressively set 20 personal best times during the meet.

Cypress Christian hosted a swim meet on Monday, December 6 at the Cy-Fair Natatorium, competing against Bay Area Christian, First Baptist Pasadena, Providence Christian and the British International School.

CCS has won the 2020-2021 4A Henderson Cup for the first time in school history. The Henderson Cup is awarded to the best overall private school in Texas based on achievement in academics, fine arts and athletics competitions throughout the school year.
CCS high school swimmers participated in the 2021 TAPPS State Championships for Division III on Monday, February 8 in San Antonio.
The CCS middle school swim team completed the 2020/2021 season by dominating the Middle School Swim Championship meet hosted on January 27, 2021.

The CCS high school and middle school swim teams competed on December 10 in the STE Holiday Meet in a three-school competition.

Congratulations to these high school student-athletes for earning awards this year.

The CCS varsity swim team completed the 2019-2020 season last week at the TAPPS Division II state championship. The boys team finished ninth overall and the girls team finished 15th. Elliott Jones was named Swimmer of the Meet.

CCS Senior swimmer, Elliott Jones is ranked in the top 100 swimmers in the world (18 & under) according to the USA Swimming World 100 list, 84th in the 100 backstroke and 61st in the 200 backstroke!

Our middle school swim team completed its inaugural season at the 2019 Southeast Texas Middle School Championships on Thursday, January 23 with five top-ten finishes.

The Warrior high school and middle school swim teams participated in their second meet of the season on Friday, December 6 at the Holiday Relay Meet at University of Houston.

We are proud to say that these six seniors who signed National Letters of Intent today, committing to play college athletics, represent 10% of the Class of 2020 with more seniors still to commit later in the year!

Our largest-ever swim team participated in the Ninth Annual Polar Bear Meet held at the Cy-Fair Natatorium on Saturday, November 9 and five school records were set.

Elliott Jones is already committed to Auburn University as he looks to defend his TAPPS state titles from the last two seasons. This summer, he qualified for the Olympic Trials.
The Houston Chronicle published an article on August 12, 2019, naming Cypress Christian School #11 in Houston for athletes for all high schools, public and private.

The Warriors took 10 swimmers to the TAPPS State Swim Meet in Mansfield, TX today. Junior, Elliott Jones became a state champion in both the 100 Back and 200 IM, setting TAPPS State and CCS school records in both events.

Junior, Elliott Jones, has verbally committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Auburn University. Elliott is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American swimmer.

The Cypress Christian Swim program took its largest team ever to the regional meet. Eleven swimmers participated in 15 events, five relays and 18 individual races. Elliott Jones set the pace by winning two events.

Elliott Jones holds his own with Olympic medalists at the TYR Pro Series Swim Meet in Austin, Texas.

Five female members of the swim team competed Saturday at the St. John 23 New Year's Classic.

The swim season does not get into full swing until after Christmas, but two CCS swimmers have gone to meets this year and have turned in personal best times, including a new school record in the 100 Back for Elliott Jones.
