Maya Anzueto

Mrs. Maya Anzueto serves as a secondary Spanish teacher at Cypress Christian School. Born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Universidad Francisco Marroquín. Before joining the CCS faculty, she served as a substitute teacher in Cy-Fair and at CCS.

Mrs. Anzueto is passionate about inspiring the next generation and enriching her students’ understanding of the Spanish language through the culture and experiences of Latin America. She considers it a blessing to share God’s world with her students and help them grow through cultural knowledge and experiences.

Mrs. Anzueto and her husband, Pablo, have two children who attend CCS.
