On Tuesday morning, more than 225 members of the CCS community gathered in the Main Gym for our Next Step Fundraising Breakfast – an expression of our shared calling to cultivate Christ-centered community, extend compassion and deepen our connection as one body.

We were blessed to receive a forward-looking message from Dr. Jeff Potts, who cast vision for this new season following our transition to Bridgeland. As he reminded us, “Our next step is deeper” – a call to grow in faith, purpose and impact as we steward what God has entrusted to CCS.

We are deeply grateful to David Swan, who faithfully recounted the story of CCS’s journey to Bridgeland, revealing God’s perfect provision at every turn. Through his unique perspective walking alongside families, David illuminated the mission of the Warrior Fund – serving as a tangible expression of God’s provision by making a CCS education accessible and sustainable for families who might not otherwise have the opportunity.

Our time together was enriched through a joyful performance by our second-grade choir under the direction of Mrs. Tania Overton, a special duet by Sydney Swan and Aidan Salazar and the CCS String Ensemble led by Dr. Mary Layton. Each performance reflected the beauty of God-given gifts being used to glorify Him and bless our community.

We are thankful for every family who joined us and for all who continue to partner in the mission of CCS. Together, we step forward in faith, committed to forming students, supporting families and advancing our mission of academic excellence and biblical values.
