Amy Staats

Mrs. Amy Staats serves as the librarian at Cypress Christian School. A proud CCS alumna, she earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Baylor University and holds certifications in early childhood and elementary education and English as a second language.

Mrs. Staats began her teaching career in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and has served in a variety of educational roles, including gifted and talented teacher, ESL teacher and reading specialist. She has also remained involved in education through volunteer leadership and substitute teaching.

Returning to her alma mater is especially meaningful to Mrs. Staats, whose passion for education began at CCS. She is passionate about fostering a love of reading while helping students grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.

Outside of school, Mrs. Staats enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, decorating and cheering on her children’s activities. Above all, she considers it a joy to serve the Lord and point others to Him.
