The JV and Varsity boys basketball teams officially wrapped up their 2018-2019 season at their team basketball party and awards program on March 3.
The football program signed two players to play college football on national signing day. Christian Fleischhauer signed with East Central University in Oklahoma while Garrett Townsend committed to be a long snapper for Texas A&M University.
HS track & field is off to a great start with a total of 55 competitors, girls and boys. This is the biggest team in CCS history and in our first meet last Saturday, the boys won the team championship while the girls team came in second, just 7.5 points behind first place.
Taylor Broadway ('15) is currently playing baseball at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and Seth Doggett ('15) is the CCS Head Middle School Baseball Caoch.

The Warrior soccer team fought hard all season and were an amazing testimony to their opponents. They are congratulated for maximizing their talent and playing hard for the Lord and for their team, a true definition of Cypress Christian Warriors.

In the 2017-2018 school year, the boys athletic teams at CCS had an unprecedented accomplishment of earning three TAPPS state championships. This accomplishment was honored on Wednesday, February 13 on the floor of the Texas House of Representatives by CCS parent and State Representative, Dr. Tom Oliverson.

The Warriors took 10 swimmers to the TAPPS State Swim Meet in Mansfield, TX today. Junior, Elliott Jones became a state champion in both the 100 Back and 200 IM, setting TAPPS State and CCS school records in both events.

CCS took 11 swimmers to the TAPPS regional meet and will be sending four relay teams and two individual swimmers on to the TAPPS State Swim Meet on February 9.

TAPPS released its All-State teams and the Warriors landed eight players on the Academic All-State team and two more players on the Athletic All-State team. To become a member of the Academic All-State team, a player must be first or second team all-district and maintain an A average.
Junior, Elliott Jones, has verbally committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Auburn University. Elliott is a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American swimmer.
CCS hosted a great varsity tournament last weekend. There were a total of 16 teams competing in the tournament from 13 different schools in the southwest part of Texas. Teams played daily with some great competition.
The varsity girls soccer team traveled to All Saints Episcopal School in Fort Worth last weekend for a tournament. The Lady Warriors were prepared for the soccer competition, but nothing could prepare them for the terrible weather conditions the team faced.
