With a pause put on the softball season, we want to recognize the contributions of our senior athletes

2020 Baseball

What can tell the story of a season that is suspended with only a third of it completed? Baseball, loved by many for the beauty of its action, is also a game of numbers. All seven Warriors in the class of 2020 collected double-digit hit totals in a mere 13 games played, with 30 extra base hits.

2020 Track & Field

CCS high school track and field is still preparing for the TAPPS state meet as we now plan for May 25-30. Our athletes have been able to compete in three invitational meets and have done well.

TAPPS Division II State Swim Championship

The CCS varsity swim team completed the 2019-2020 season last week at the TAPPS Division II state championship. The boys team finished ninth overall and the girls team finished 15th. Elliott Jones was named Swimmer of the Meet.

MS Girls Soccer - Stronger Together

Remembering that they are "Stronger Together" was what the girls MS soccer team focused on during the 2019-2020 season. Ecclesiastes 4:12 explains that a chord of three strands is not easily broken and that we are designed to work together. Soccer is a sport that requires teamwork and is a sport where one person cannot beat another team all by themselves.

MS Girls Basketball Teams Finish Season Strong

The middle school girls basketball season ended last weekend with both the A & B teams competing in the HAPS District Tournament held at Rosehill Christian where both teams took home the first-place hardware as district champions!

MS Boys Basketball Has Outstanding Season

The 2019-2020 basketball season for middle school boys was a very special and exciting one. All three boys teams competed hard every game, displayed outstanding team basketball and represented Christ well both on and off the court.

MS Swim Competes Well in Inaugural Season

Our middle school swim team completed its inaugural season at the 2019 Southeast Texas Middle School Championships on Thursday, January 23 with five top-ten finishes.
