Lady Warriors JV Team Wins Tournament

The Lady Warriors JV basketball team took home the first place trophy in our own CCS JV Girls and Boys Warrior Tournament last weekend.

Meet Hall of Fame Coach Van Chancellor at First District Basketball Game

We are excited to invite the entire CCS family to a special night this Tuesday, December 4 in the East Gym. The first high school district basketball games will be played and we have the honor of having Coach Van Chancellor, a legend in women’s basketball coaching, with us.

Football All-District Honors

The Warriors completed a record-breaking season in Division II football. In total the Warriors had 13 players make the All-District team.

Come-From-Behind Victory Launches the Warriors into Regional Championship Game

In the closing seconds for the second straight week, the Warriors pulled out an improbable victory. Coach Spenn passed on an easy field goal with seven seconds to play as the Warriors trailed 17-14. Drue Hirth threw a strike to Joseph Carbone in the back of the end zone to give the Warriors the 21-17 victory, the same score that propelled them into the playoffs the week before. 

Senior JT Mounce Signs with Oklahoma State University

On Wednesday, November 14, Cypress Christian School hosted a special National Letter of Intent signing ceremony to honor current senior, JT Mounce and his commitment to play baseball at Oklahoma State University.

Late Surge Puts Warriors Over the Top

The Warriors completed the regular season in dramatic fashion on Friday night. High school football games are 48 minutes long and the Warriors used every minute in this game.

When the temperature begins to drop outside the Warrior Soccer program knows it is time to take the field. 

Cross Country Finishes Strong

The end of October also marks the end of another great varsity cross country season for Cypress Christian School. The Warriors finished the year by competing at the TAPPS 5A State Championships in Waco, Texas on October 29th.

Season Recap - MS Football B Team

The middle school Warriors football B team went 2-5 this year, but had a great season after a slow start. The progress made from game one to the last game was incredible, as most of the first-time players made tremendous strides on the field.  

MS Cross Country Celebrates the Season

Each runner contributed to the team and improved their running times, with every runner setting a personal best time in the last two races of the season.

Lady Warriors Take Area Playoff 3-0

The Lady Warrior varsity volleyball team finished second in District during regular season play, setting them up for a first-round bye in the playoffs and are heading to Regionals after their win on Tuesday.

Cross Country Girls Team are District Champions

Last Thursday, the CCS high school cross country team competed in the TAPPS District Championship race, held at Challenger Seven Memorial Park in Webster, Texas. The Warriors competed with nine other schools and nearly two hundred individual runners and once again found success! The months of running countless miles in the Texas heat paid off in a major way. 

Warriors Win District Opener

The Warriors opened district play on the road at Westbury Christian last week. The game was a defensive thriller down to the final seconds.

Lady Warriors Honor Their Seniors

Varsity volleyball is adding to the excitement of homecoming week with big wins, and senior recognition night, as the Lady Warriors host Lutheran South and Emery Weiner this week.

MS Cross Country Team Competes in District Meet

The middle school cross country team competed with 10 other schools on Tuesday, October 26 in the HAPS District Championship. The girls team finished in fourth place and the and boys finished eighth.

Finishing District Strong

Volleyball has been fighting strong within their new district this season, and are looking to finish out with a winning record.
