Parent Service Organization (PSO)
The Parent Service Organization (PSO) is an enrichment program eager to partner with volunteers who are excited to share their God-given gifts and talents with Cypress Christian School. Coaching opportunities are available for K-5 fall soccer, 4th & 5th grade basketball and spring baseball/softball through the West Houston Christian Sports Association. All coaches must be interviewed and submit information for background check. Please indicate your interest(s) and someone will contact you to schedule the interview.
Lunch is provided by volunteers to faculty, staff and administrators to show appreciation for the time they give to our students. This is a tremendous blessing and treasured by all! Please indicate your level of interest(s) and someone will contact you to determine your availability and confirm placement.
CCS will provide a well-maintained, safe environment for volunteers to create, produce and inspire others through the handyman / maintenance ministry for various jobs on campus. Volunteers should have the following:
• Ability to work with minimal supervision performing general handyman tasks
• Experience with maintenance
• Be physically able to move and lift items
• Be prompt and thorough in completing assigned tasks
• Be dependable and cooperative
• Work well independently or with a team
• Be accountable for completing tasks
Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization established to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, understand business and economics and be better prepared for the workforce. Each classroom needs one volunteer to partner with the teacher and present the business curriculum one time per week, over a 5-week period. Someone will contact you with details and equip you for success in the classroom!
Prayer Warriors are necessary for our school to exist as we strive to fulfill the mission of academic excellence and biblical values. Please join us in daily prayer for:
• Faculty and Staff
• The Administration
• Current and Future School Families and Students
• Board of Directors
• Fellow Christian Schools / Local Churches
We will plan to meet as a group December 4, 2017 and April 9, 2018 for fellowship, praise reports and prayer requests. Location to be announced at a later date.
