Flapjacks for Fuel
Pancakes and juice will be served at 7:30 a.m. in the Elementary Lunchroom for all elementary students. Students report to class after eating.
|K, 1st and 2nd||9:00 - 9:30 a.m.|
|3rd, 4th and 5th||10:15 - 10:45 a.m.|
Pre Race Volunteers
Volunteers need to be in the classroom 35 minutes prior to the race to help pin on the bib number to the front of the students' shirts. (Two per classroom and up to four for grades K-2)
Water Station Volunteers
Volunteers need to be on the visitor side of the track five minutes prior to the start of the race. There will be three tables set up where volunteers will fill water cups and hand them out to the runners as they pass by. We will have trash cans on the track, but volunteers will need to help with periodic cleanup of the cups. (About 15 per race)
Finish Line Volunteers
Volunteers need to report to the finish line (located in front of the grandstand) ten minutes prior to the end of the race. After the runners cross the finish line, they will be directed to the track infield where they will be given a finisher’s medal along with a snack and Gatorade. (About 10 per race)
2017-20188 Tribal t-shirt and athletic shorts should be worn. The length of shorts should conform to dress code policy. Athletic shoes (tie or Velcro) are required to participate.
Feel free to invite family and friends to come watch the event and cheer on your runner! Signs, banners and noise-makers are welcome!
