Community is one of the things that makes CCS a special place!
Homecoming at CCS is a week full of fun themes and activities where relationships are built. Students in grades K-12, teachers and parents enjoy coming together to support CCS! Warriors enjoyed a fun week of homecoming festivities including dress-up days, special food, games, contests, a bonfire, parade, "light outs - glow in the dark" pep rally and more. "Glow Big or Go Home" was the theme for the week.
PARADE - At Friday's parade, CCS was especially blessed by having Ron & Jean Hinn serve as the Grand Marshalls. They are parents of alumni, Kristan ('07) and Kyle ('10), and have continued in their support of our school and are so proud to see CCS continue to grow and develop in academic excellence while maintaining such a strong Christian environment. Mrs. Hinn was a beloved CCS middle school science teacher for 11 years before retiring in 2018.
PEP RALLY - At the White Out pep rally, K-12 students, parents, faculty & staff loved glowing under the black lights! Teachers competed against students in games and everyone enjoyed the performances by the cheer squads, drumline, fourth grade drummers and the senior moms. It was a fun day celebrating our Warriors!
GAME - Congratulations to our varsity football team who beat the Westbury Christian Wildcats in a last-second victory to begin district play with a 1-0 district record, to our homecoming court and the newly crowned Homecoming King and Queen, Jackson Landrum and Campbell Fox. It was a great night attended by K-12 students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. Thank you to our talented staff, student and volunteer photographers for capturing fun spirit week moments!
