Hunting for Physics Treasure

November 9, 2017

Honors Physics students went on a special type of treasure hunt recently in Mrs. Keim’s class – a hunt that involved travel, mystery and, of course, some fun physics calculations. Students used their fine-tuned algebraic vector addition skills to calculate locations around campus to which they traveled, in order to discover new clues and to calculate their next destination. The students raced to find their way around the campus and to be the first at the final destination, where treasure awaited for the winners in a golden envelope!
