Junior Leadership Retreat

The junior class traveled to Camp Allen for a time of leadership and team building. The goal for the retreat was to set the tone for the junior class as they prepare to be the leaders of the school and to build stronger relationships within the class as they enter into their senior year at CCS.

Senior Send-Off 2017

In honor of the class of 2017, a special chapel was held and the campus was decorated with signs displaying the names of the colleges and universities where the seniors will attend.

Where We Are Going We Won't Need Roads

Physics students participated in the first annual CCS Magnetic Levitation Derby. Each student created their own magnetic levitation (MAGLEV) vehicle with magnets connected to the bottom so that it levitated on the magnetic track.

Music and Art Celebration 2017

On May 12, 2017, choir, drumline and art celebrated their year of events, competitions and organizations with an art exhibition, slideshow, refreshments and fun.

NJHS Induction 2017

National Junior Honor Society of Cypress Christian School inducted their new members to the 2017 Chapter.

Cypress Christian Opens Campus Life Center and Gym May 2017

Executive Director Stephen Novotny said, “We are thankful to open the doors of this wonderful new facility; and are thrilled for what this will mean for generations of students to come. We thank God for the generosity of so many who have provided this new facility to help us continue to fulfill our mission of honoring the Lord Jesus Christ by providing students an education based upon academic excellence and biblical values.”

First Chapel Services in new Campus Life Center and Gym May 2017

On Wed, May 10, grades K-8 held chapel services in the new Campus Life Center and Gym for the very first time. Second grade students led worship for their chapel with their "STOMP" presentation and alumnus Evan Weppler ('07) spoke to students about the "Signs of our Creator."

Five Seniors Moving On to Play College Football

After an outstanding 10-2 season led by a great senior class, the Warriors are sending five of the ten seniors on to the ranks of college football. About 8% of high school athletes have the opportunity to play athletics in college, but 50% of this special football class will get that opportunity next year.

Baseball and Softball Playoffs 2017

On May 4, HS baseball hosts Austin Brentwood at 4 p.m. in area playoffs, and HS softball travels to Shiner to play in regional game at 6 p.m. Go, Warriors!

Lady Warriors Golf Places Fifth at State Tournament

Overall, this season has been the most successful in many years for both the boys and the girls golf teams. Recently, the girls team, comprised of junior Madelynn Beckman and sophomores Charlotte Achterkirch, Melanie Alvarez, Emily Nicholson, and Kara Otts, earned fifth at the state tournament. TAPPS Regional Track and Field Meet 2017

Warrior athletes performed very well in the extreme heat at the regional meet and many qualified to compete at the state meet on May 5-6. Read more about the accomplishments of our high school track and field athletes. Thanks for praying for them as they compete for the last time this year.
