Chemistry Students Celebrate Mole Day

Chemistry students celebrated a unit of measurement known as a mole. Mole Day commemorates Avogadro's Number (6.02 x 10^23) which is used to convert between atoms/molecules and grams. The students had fun creating stuffed moles, naming them, and costuming them appropriately.

Eighth Graders Hold Mock Trial

Eighth graders experienced firsthand how the Supreme Court of the United States functions as part of their study of American history. After learning how cases are selected, presented in court and then decided, students were given a real court case and held a mock trial.

Operation Christmas Child 2017

Elementary, middle school and high students participated in the "Operation Christmas Child" project through Samaritan’s Purse. The Christmas boxes will be delivered to children in countries all around the world. This is a wonderful way for students to help send the gospel message to a child in another country. Overall, 169 boxes were packed!

Students Explain the Connection Between Insulin and Glucose

Biomedical science students investigated how insulin and glucose are involved in cell communication. Students used a design process to create a 3-D working model demonstrating how insulin works to move glucose into cells, and to explain this process to their target audience.

Veterans Day 2017

Veterans from all areas of the armed forces were in attendance at the annual assembly held in their honor. Read more, view photos and video of this special occasion.

Hunting for Physics Treasure

Honors Physics students went on a special type of treasure hunt recently in Mrs. Keim’s class – a hunt that involved travel, mystery and, of course, some fun physics calculations.

Senior Performs in TMEA Region Choir

This weekend, Julia Williams performed with the TMEA Region Choir for her fourth year in a row, earning second chair out of the hundreds of students who auditioned.



Undefeated District Champs

The Warriors finished the district season at 9-0 and earned a top seed in the TAPPS State Playoffs. The Warriors will host Schertz John Paul II on Friday at 7 p.m.

2017 Cross Country Awards

The CCS Warriors successfully crossed the finish line of the 2017 season this past week with participation in the TAPPS 4A State Championship and the Team Awards Celebration.

Lady Warriors Volleyball Close Out Season in State Final Four

Varsity volleyball rose to the occasion this season, performing at the highest level individually and as a team in the program's recent history. Throughout the season, the Lady Warriors fought through each match as a team, exemplifying great hustle and demanding a high work ethic from each other.

Lady Warriors are State Bound

Lady Warriors are State Bound! For the first time since CCS has been in TAPPS, the Lady Warriors varsity volleyball team is heading to the TAPPS 4A State Final Four this Friday and Saturday!

Football Records Fall

The Warriors dominated every phase of the football game in route to a 50 point first half lead and a 57-13 victory over Logos Prep. The victory clinched a division title for the Warriors, their first since 2011.

6-0 Start has the Warriors Playoff Bound

The last few minutes of the second quarter and the first part of the third were a blur of Warrior scoring plays as the Warriors would put 35 unanswered points on the board in route to a 43-14 victory.

MS Football A Team Finishes Strong

Under the guidance of Coach Mason, middle school football A team wrapped up a successful season on Saturday with a 4th place district finish and a winning record, with only two losses all season.
