Varsity boys basketball won the area round of the playoffs on Tuesday, February 14.

Middle school boys basketball had their team awards program to cap off the 2022-2023 season.

Congratulations to the MS B Team boys basketball team and Coach Austin on having a stellar season and making it to the HAPS Division 2 championship game.
The CCS middle school boys basketball program competes in the Houston Area Private School Conference (HAPS) and is comprised of an A, B and C teams. Each team began its season back in November 2022 and now has culminated the last week of January 2023.

Varsity boys basketball defeated Veritas Academy Austin on Tuesday night to advance to the regional round. We are thankful to God for all the success He has allowed us to have this season.

Varsity boys basketball finished the regular season as undefeated district champions for the first time since 2007!

The middle school boys basketball team had their team awards program Saturday in the East Gym.

Varsity boys basketball had a phenomenal weekend in the CCS Warrior Classic going 3-0 and earning tournament champs. Nile Austin and Price Schultea were selected for the All-Tournament team.

Last Saturday, the high school boys basketball program partnered with the Theta Chi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity to distribute over 80 turkeys to families in need.

The boys varsity basketball team has worked so hard to get to where they are.
Lady Warrior Basketball is up and running with two high school teams this year.

CCS has won the 2020-2021 4A Henderson Cup for the first time in school history. The Henderson Cup is awarded to the best overall private school in Texas based on achievement in academics, fine arts and athletics competitions throughout the school year.

Be looking for some exciting basketball in the winter sports season, as the teams continue with clinics, open gyms and basketball team time until October 18 when we officially begin our trip to the playoffs!

The 2020-2021 middle school boys basketball season was another successful and promising one.
On Tuesday, the varsity boys district home opener versus Northland Christian kept the fans on the edge of their seats the entire game. The Warriors led the Cougars throughout the game until the 4th quarter.

CCS basketball hosted the annual Warrior Classic Tournament January 7-9 with six girls and six boys teams this year. There was good competition and plenty of games for every team to play.

The entire team played collectively and it was great to have our football boys back on the hardwood.

Coach Coleman will be the Interim Varsity Boys Basketball Coach for the 2020-2021 season. Coach Coleman has faithfully served the CCS basketball program for almost two decades since 2001.

Last Saturday, CCS Warrior boys high school basketball players served their community by delivering water to the Houston Food Bank.

Congratulations to these high school student-athletes for earning awards this year.

The 2019-2020 basketball season for middle school boys was a very special and exciting one. All three boys teams competed hard every game, displayed outstanding team basketball and represented Christ well both on and off the court.

The CCS Warrior Classic Basketball Tournament was a success this past weekend as Cypress Christian played host to seven girls and seven boys varsity basketball teams.

The boys middle school basketball C team continues to have an amazing season! They have a 10 and 1 record for the season and are ranked #1 in their league.

Tryouts begin on Monday, October 14 for winter sports.
The Houston Chronicle published an article on August 12, 2019, naming Cypress Christian School #11 in Houston for athletes for all high schools, public and private.
