The Lady Warriors had a great time in June playing in the Rosehill Summer League, with two games each on Monday nights. It was a great opportunity for the incoming freshmen to move up and play with the high school returners and a great time of bonding and building friendships. We had a total of 14 girls participating and look forward to the season, as this coming year, we will be able once again to field full JV and varsity girls teams. It’s been five years since we had the numbers to keep two teams busy all season.
Building off a regional championship title this school year, the high school boys went strong as a team into summer league for the first time in over 10 years. They have done a great job strengthening their skills as individuals and as a team.
Be looking for some exciting basketball in the winter sports season, as the teams continue with clinics, open gyms and basketball team time until October 18 when we officially begin our trip to the playoffs!
