Athletics is a great tool to build Christian character, to teach discipline and to learn to face adversity and challenges with a steady eye, a courageous spirit and reliance upon the ultimate authority, Jesus Christ. Athletics is a form of worship and our number one goal is building men and women of godly character in our athletic programs.

CCS Relay Hot Races

The high school cross country team hosted the CCS Relay Hot Races at Houston Northwest Church last Saturday with terrific success! Runners competed in three and four-person teams in each division and came away with the second place team trophy.

Boys team:

Caleb Burgos, Gray Layton, Thomas Walsh – Fourth place

Girls team:

Sophie Fransen, Ali Richard, Maddy McKnight – Fifth place

Mixed teams:

Ben Hensley, Ayden Farrell, Audrey Fransen, Aleah Dziubarczyk – Sixth place

Parker Hirth, Julian Young, Camille Zemke, Avery Connelly – Seventh place

Both the middle and high school teams will be back in action on Saturday, August 26, for the Woodlands Christian Invitational.
