The Warriors dropped time in almost every event on Wednesday and set five school records. Elliott Jones was recognized as the East Regional Swimmer of the Meet and capped off the historic day with a wall-to-wall record setting victory in his signature event, the 100 Backstroke. He shattered his own state record with a time of 51.91. The boys (just 4 of them) finished 6th overall out of 25 schools represented at the Division III level by scoring 49 points.
The girls came in 22nd out of 31 schools with Allison Thompson setting the pace by finishing 7th in a very fast finish in both the 50 and 100 Free.
"It was a great day. It was really fun to watch the swimmers cheer each other on and see so many personal best times at this level," said Coach Spenn.
