National Art Honor Society

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is designed specifically for high school students in grades 9-12. In 1978, the National Art Education Association began the National Art Honor Society program to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art.

Today, the NAHS has over 2,100 chapters and 49,000 students involved in the society. The NAHS strives to aid members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.
CCS students who have had one year of art may join the National Art Honor Society. NAHS members gain peer recognition, leadership and growth opportunities, community service and scholarship opportunities in the arts and further their education in art via a field trip to an art museum.

The 2023-2024 NAHS officers are Bria Lloyd (President), Rayne Harris (Vice President), Madison Fowler (Historian), Cailea Chalton (Secretary) and Regina Hernandez-Rodriguez (Treasurer).
