Their daughter Carlee Kirtley started third grade at Cypress Christian School this year, and they are so excited! "Today marks a very exciting day! We made the decision to switch to CCS this year. It has been on our hearts for a while now and, honestly, it felt so right when we called and toured the school. We know so many wonderful people there from our time at CCS. It seriously feels like home. We felt so much peace dropping her off.”
"We finally have all three kids in school,” says alumnus Michael Patterson ('99) and wife Tiffany when Cypress Christian School Warriors returned to campus for the new school year. “It was bittersweet seeing our little ‘TBug’ march off to class. We are praying for continued health in body and mind for all three of them. So thankful we finally made it to this day.” Tannith is a kindergartener, Brittany is a freshman and Jacob is a junior at CCS.

Lady Warrior at Home in Heaven
Rachel Reed (’08) went home to be with the Lord on August 9, 2020. “She was a creative soul who excelled in the areas of floral design, photography, music, makeup and fashion. She loved to travel and loved to help people and animals. She always cared for those who needed help the most. She was baptized into Christ at the age of 10 and was an active member of the youth group at the Church of Christ in Champions. As an adult, Rachel held a variety of jobs but was most happy when she was helping people or animals.” Please pray for her parents, Alan and Lisa Reed, brother Jacob and extended family members as she will be sorely missed.
