The 41 seniors in the CCS Class of 2021 have a lot to be proud of!
They have:
- Completed 180 college applications
- Received 138 acceptance letters to 57 colleges & universities including Duke University, United States Military Academy at West Point, Baylor University and Texas A&M University (scroll to the bottom to see the full list)
- Earned a total of $4,001,452 in college scholarships!

Casey Barbisch
Casey will attend Auburn University this fall where she plans to study nutrition and dietetics and plans to become a registered dietician. She is most excited about making new friends, experiencing Auburn game days and being involved in Auburn traditions. Casey has attended CCS for 13 years, from kindergarten through her senior year. Her favorite CCS memory is playing sports with her best friends. Congratulations, Casey!
Cooper Comeaux
Cooper will attend Baylor University this fall where he plans to study mechanical engineering. He is most excited about meeting new people. His favorite CCS memory is winning the state championship in football freshman year. Congratulations, Cooper!
Andrew Crawford
Andrew will attend Texas A&M University in the fall where he will study mechanical engineering. He is most excited about learning and intramural sports. His favorite CCS memory is hanging out with the ping pong club. Congratulations, Andrew!
Connor Fulbright
Connor will attend The Coast Guard Academy in the fall where he will study cyber security and play baseball. He is most excited about joining the military and playing baseball. His favorite CCS memories are being a part of CCS sports teams. Congratulations, Connor!
Abigail Gilreath
Abigail will attend Hillsdale College in the fall where she will study biomathematics with plans to pursue an MD/PhD. She is most excited about research opportunities, rushing a sorority, intramural sports and the snow. Her favorite CCS memory is the final four state volleyball tournament. Congratulations, Abigail!
Walker Girard
Walker will attend Blinn College this fall with plans to transfer to Texas A&M University to pursue a degree in geographic information system technologies. He is most excited about meeting new people and living on his own. Walker has attended CCS for 13 years, from kindergarten through his senior year. His favorite CCS memories are off-campus lunch and homecoming weeks, Congratulations, Walker!
Abigail Hotchkiss
Abigail will attend Texas A&M University this fall where she plans to study communications/business. She is most excited about meeting new people in college. Her favorite CCS memories are spending time with friends, sports and thoughtful coaches. Congratulations, Abigail!
Brittany Hough
Brittany will attend Lone Star College this fall where she plans to study business. She is most excited about more personal freedom in college. Her favorite CCS memory has been making friends. Congratulations, Brittany!
Paige Jackson
Paige will attend Texas A&M University this fall where she plans to study allied health or biomedical sciences with plans to pursue physician assistant school. She is most excited for the opportunity to grow more in her faith, get involved on campus and make an impact on those around her as she makes new friends and meets new people. Her favorite CCS memory is Friday night football games and homecoming week activities throughout high school. Congratulations, Paige!
Christopher Keith
Christopher will attend Texas State University this fall where he plans to study electrical engineering. He is looking forward to living on his own in college. His favorite CCS memories have been playing basketball both junior and senior years. It was incredibly fun, his favorite time playing basketball ever. Congratulations, Christopher!
Camden Khuong
Camden will attend Eckerd College this fall where he plans to study marine science specializing in biology with plans to attend the University of Hawaii Manoa or the University of Miami in order to earn a doctorate. He is looking forward to the Marine Mammal Pathobiology Lab on the Eckerd College campus. He plans to be involved in additional research with the Eckerd College Dolphin Project and Bimini Biological Field Station Shark Lab. He will be a volunteer with the Florida Institute of Oceanography to gain more experience abroad. At CCS, he has happy memories with his friends in the Ping Pong Club and has enjoyed senior off-campus lunch. Congratulations, Camden!
Mara Kirchhoff
Mara will attend The University of Texas at Tyler this fall where she plans to study psychology. She is most excited about a new start in college. Her favorite CCS memory is spiritual emphasis week freshman year. Congratulations, Mara!
Carson Lacaze
Carson will attend Texas A&M University this fall where he plans to study mechanical engineering. He is most excited about meeting new people, trying new things and independence. His favorite CCS memory is the snow day with drumline when football won the state championship. Congratulations, Carson!
Nathanael Luper
Nathanael will attend University of Arkansas this fall where he plans to study finance and pursue an MBA. He is most excited about college football games. His favorite CCS memory is winning district in basketball. Congratulations, Nathanael!
John Macune
John has received an appointment to the United States Military Academy West Point where he will attend in the fall to study engineering. His future plans include applying to commission and serve as an officer in the U.S. Army. He is most excited about trying out for the sprint football team and the opportunity to go to college with his brother, Daniel ('19). He is also looking forward to some of the military training he will receive, including Airborne School. His favorite CCS memory is winning the football state championship his freshman year. Libby Mitton
Libby will attend Texas Tech University this fall with an interest in their pre-dental program. She is most excited about meeting new people, being in a sorority and starting fresh in a new place. While at CCS, she has loved getting close to her classmates throughout the years. Congratulations, Libby!
Koedi Nealy
Koedi will attend Southern Methodist University this fall as a Distinguished Scholar in the honors program at Cox Business School. She plans to pursue an MBA in business/entrepreneurship with an emphasis in nonprofit. She is looking forward to meeting new people and getting plugged in to organizations where she can grow her faith even more! She is also excited to be bringing Graced Ministry to the Hilltop. Koedi has attended CCS for 13 years, from kindergarten through her senior year. Her favorite CCS memories include being involved in one act plays and the most recent show, The Wizard of Oz. She loves being a part of the theatre program because they have so much fun on and off stage. Congratulations, Koedi!
Lauren Nicholson
Lauren will attend Baylor University this fall where she plans to study political science. She is most excited about having more freedom when going off to college. Her favorite CCS memory is granny big ball soccer during homecoming week. Congratulations, Lauren!
Noah Parker
Noah will attend Auburn University this fall where he plans to study business. He is most excited about meeting new people, having fun and having a bright future. His favorite CCS memory is all the practices and games in all the sports he has participated in. Congratulations, Noah!
Ethan Poncho
Ethan will attend Baylor University this fall where he plans to study computer science. He is most excited about experiencing a new environment. His favorite CCS memories are field trips and special school events. Congratulations, Ethan!
David Quarles
David will attend Duke University this fall where he plans to study mechanical engineering. He is most excited about living on his own and becoming fully responsible for everything in his life. His favorite CCS memory is being able to go off campus for lunch every day. Congratulations, David!
Elizabeth Richardson
Elizabeth will attend Baylor University this fall where she plans to study elementary education. She is most excited about making new friends and having new experiences in college. Her favorite CCS memories are homecoming weeks, off-campus lunches and sports with her best friends. Congratulations, Elizabeth!
Magnus Rowan
Magnus will attend Wildlands Firefighting in Chama, New Mexico this fall where he will study and train to be a firefighter. His favorite CCS memory is off-campus lunch with friends. Congratulations, Magnus!
Rachel Smith
Rachel will attend Baylor University this fall where she plans to study political science on the pre-law track with a minor in biomedical science. She is most excited about making new friends, rushing a sorority, finding new interests and trying new things. Her favorite CCS memory is going to the state track meet her freshman year when the first day was rained out and the team stayed at the hotel all day. Congratulations, Rachel!
Josh Storey
Josh will attend Texas A&M University this fall where he plans to study business. He is most excited about college football games next year. Josh has attended CCS for 13 years, from kindergarten through his senior year. His favorite CCS memory is going to the TAPPS state championship football game this season. Congratulations, Josh!
Blake Stovall
Blake will attend Texas A&M University this fall where he plans to study industrial engineering. He is most excited about Aggie football games. His favorite CCS memory is winning the district championship in basketball. Congratulations, Blake!
Jaden Tran
Jaden will attend Texas A&M University this fall where he plans to study chemistry and pursue pharmacy school. He is most excited about independence, meeting new people and being in College Station. His favorite CCS memory is finding out that the swim team that placed third in the 200 individual medley at the state meet was disqualified, moving the CCS team into third with a place on the podium. Congratulations, Jaden!
Caroline Usry
Caroline will attend The University of Oklahoma this fall where she plans to study medicine. She is most excited about meeting new people and living on her own, ultimately the next chapter of her life. Her favorite CCS memory is the eighth-grade trip to Washington D.C. Congratulations, Caroline!
Riann Watterson
Riann will attend Texas State University this fall where she plans to study psychology. She is most excited about living on her own. Her favorite CCS memory is winning the football state championship freshman year and riding back on the bus with drumline. Congratulations, Riann!
Sydney Wax
Sydney will attend Texas A&M University this fall where she plans to study neuroscience and neurobiology and she may pursue medical school in the future. She is most excited about everything college has to offer. Her favorite CCS memory is the eighth-grade trip to Washington, D.C. and loved field trips in general because of all the bonding. Congratulations, Sydney!
Gavin West
Gavin will attend Texas A&M University this fall where he plans to study kinesiology and pursue chiropractic school. He is most excited about the Corps of Cadets life. His favorite CCS memory is the state football team run. Congratulations, Gavin!
Kelsey Wimsatt
Kelsey will attend Samford University this fall where she plans to study communication sciences and disorders and will pursue her master's degree in speech pathology. She is most excited about making new friends, having new experiences and more freedom. Her favorite CCS memory is homecoming week. Congratulations, Kelsey!
Preston Witschonke
Preston will attend Baylor University this fall where he plans to study management information systems and computer science. He is most excited about meeting new people and having independence. His favorite CCS memory is winning a state championship and making playoff runs in sports. Congratulations, Preston!
Abigail Young
Abigail will attend University of Arkansas this fall where she plans to study interior design and architecture and will be part of the Honors College. She is most excited about new opportunities and friendships that come with a fresh start in a new city. Abigail has attended CCS for 13 years, from kindergarten through her senior year. Her favorite CCS memory is homecoming week activities and how they bring the grade together. Congratulations, Abigail!
