The Tribe of Judah kicked off the year with a Hawaiian-themed luncheon on September 9. This was soon followed up with a field trip on September 24 to Elim Christian School, a school that provides students with learning differences a Christian education. Each year, the tribe members buddy up with a student from ECS to provide encouragement and friendship through notes and group visits. This first visit was a "get to know you" time that included praise and worship, board games and nine-square outside. Plans have already been made for a joint Christmas party and other activities for the second semester are in the works!
