The CCS Warrior Chorale sang a sacred concert on Sunday, May 6, for the Southwinds Baptist Church. They performed pieces from their An Evening in Spring concert performed April 26th. The pieces included one of their favorites "Shut de Do," a standard in their repertoire "Festival Gloria" and a new edition to their repertoire for this year, the amazing arrangement of Ken Medema’s "Moses."
Students were taken aback at the standing ovation the congregation gave them as an affirmation of ‘message received and a job well done.’ The morning service was a blessed ministry opportunity for the Chorale and another stellar Warrior moment by the performing arts department. We are so proud of what they have accomplished this year as a high school ensemble, as well as rounding out a complete education.
