This quarter, students have been reading and learning about the holocaust and what life was like in Europe during World War II. On Friday, February 14, eighth-grade students had the opportunity to travel to Main Street Theater to view "The Diary of Anne Frank." The theater did a spectacular job of giving the students a visual of what it was like for eight people to live in such small quarters and how they spent their days.
A few students shared their thoughts about the play. “I enjoyed watching it; it was very entertaining, and I got a better idea of what life was like to hide during WWII.” Another student stated, “I thought it was really emotional. They portrayed everything very nicely.”
Not only was the play an educational experience for the students, but it was a moving experience as well.
