Recently during science class, sixth-graders spent time exploring Ozobots during an exciting new STEM activity. Mrs. York's students got hands-on experience solving puzzles and mazes all while releasing their inner-artist. Ozobots are fun, little toy robots that blend the physical and digital worlds. Using Ozobot's color-coded programming, students drew instructions for the robot to follow using the universal color language. This is the first step in learning more advanced block-based programming languages. Age-appropriate familiarity with technology, such as the Ozobots, allows students to identify an interest in STEM-related fields and encourages them to explore while having fun.
