Senior Abigail Sanders Advances to Auction Level at Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo School Art Contest

This is a first for CCS artists. There were about 72 (out of over 3,000) artists selected from the Gold Medal Winners who advanced to the Auction level this past Sunday, February 6 at the 2022 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo School Art Awards ceremony at NRG Center.

Abigail received a gift bag of goodies with her winning artwork on it and walked across the stage to receive her award. A slideshow was shown of all the winners’ art as they received their award and then photos were taken with HLS&R officials. The final trophy will be mailed to CCS for display. Abigail received her auction bid #64 for the HLS&R School Art Auction on March 13 at NRG Center.
