On Thursday, February 28, CCS first graders headed to the Children’s Museum. They had a great time at the many stations that were offered to them. Some of their favorite experiences were building a rocket or a parachute, petting a baby chick, climbing up the PowerPlay, racing boats in FlowWorks and visiting Kidtropolis where they could work at a bank, a grocery store and a vet clinic. After they finished at the Children’s Museum, they went to Matzke Park for a picnic lunch and a few minutes of play time as the rain stayed away but the temperatures were cold. The kids thought this was one of the best days of their first-grade year.
