Dean of Students Officiates Alumnus' Wedding

Dean of Students, Craig Cleveland, had the privilege of officiating the wedding ceremony of Jonathan Davis and Natalie Lanclos on Saturday, October 10 in Bryan, TX. Jonathan is an alumnus of Cypress Christian School as well as a former high school teacher. He also coached middle school and JV boys basketball and was an assistant varsity coach.

While a student at CCS, Coach Cleveland taught Jonathan in history and Bible and was his high school basketball coach for four years. During this time, Coach Cleveland mentored Jonathan, teaching him not only skills on the court, but life skills on how to be a man of God. When asked how he felt officiating the wedding of a former player, Coach Cleveland said, “It was an honor and privilege to officiate Jonathan and Natalie’s wedding. JD has been a tremendous blessing to me and I am humbled that he allowed me to be a part of such a monumental event in his life.”
