Anatomy & Physiology Students Simulate a Surgical Team

While learning medical terminology, Anatomy & Physiology students simulate a surgical team. Students show understanding of the patient privacy procedures, pre-op and post-op procedures, the importance of continual and complete documentation, anatomical body regions and directions. After the surgical procedure is performed on the “Potato Man,” students send the patient to the PACU and complete chart documentation.
